Steve is passionate about the history of Cupar and surrounding areas. Born in Glasgow, he started school in Cupar and lived in the Railway Station House for many years. He still lives and works in Cupar. He has been collecting Cupar memorobilia since he was at school. In 1995 he started exhibiting his collection at the Courtyard Bookshop and then at Cupar Library. He then set up exhibitions in the tourist information centre. Such was the interest in Cupar history, that Steve and some friends created a new Local History Group called the Heritage Arts and Leisure Society (HAL) in 1997 and he chaired the group for about 10 years before leaving the group to concentrate on new projects.

Currently Steve is mounting exhibitions in locations around Fife and is considering some exciting new local history projects!

Steve is grateful to those who help him, in particular the Cupar Round Table and the Print and Stationery Office, Cupar who assist with the costs of creating exhibits around the town.

Keep up to date with what is happening through his Blog at Cupar Corner.
